MAX

The MAX formula is used to find the maximum value in a range of numbers. To use the MAX formula, select the cell where you want the result to appear and enter “=MAX(” followed by the range of cells you want to find the maximum value of. For example, “=MAX(A1:A5)” would find the highest value in cells A1 through A5.

Example:

The maximum value in cells A1 through A5 is =MAX(A1:A5).
